Proposal

This traditional horizontal ranch house is envisioned transformed into a contemporary lake home. A popped-up roof articulates the main entrance and the living room space, while the roof over the kitchen and dining room is raised and extended to include a screened porch. The rear of the house is now a series of modules: the master suite with cantilevered deck, glass-walled living room with tall and wide views to candlewood lake, and a projecting screened porch to enjoy summer evenings.
